Born on 19th December, 1978 to NTB Udurawana and Madam P I Godigamuwa. An old boy of Trinity College Kandy (Class of 1996).

The Professional Journey

After completing his school career, Daminda joined Cipla pharmaceutical company as a medical representative. His brilliance and performance were recognized early, leading to a rapid ascent through the corporate ranks:

Entrepreneurial Ventures

Armed with deep industry knowledge and an instinctive drive, he transitioned into entrepreneurship in 2010. Since then, he has built a diversified conglomerate:

  • A and H Associates (2010): His first step into independent business.
  • Villogen Pharma: Established to concentrate exclusively on creating a distinctive pharmaceutical brand in Sri Lanka.
  • Micro Finance (2012): Formed A and H Holdings Micro Credit to support low-income families and budding entrepreneurs.
  • Real Estate: Diversified into property through Villogen Property Development Private Limited.
  • Automobile: Trading in motor vehicles, a field close to his heart.

Community & Philanthropy

Beyond business, Daminda is a religious person who believes in giving back. His notable contributions include:

  • Graniting the floor of the Kataragama Dewalaya in Kandy.
  • Tiling the Chaithiya floor area of the Dangolla Thissaramaya Temple.

He remains devoted to his wife and his three sons—Ayodhya, Hiranya, and Aradhya—balancing his professional pursuits with strong family values.
