Buddhika’s professional journey began on the front lines of the industry, where he gained invaluable field experience that continues to inform his high-level strategic decisions today:

George Stewart's Pharmaceuticals (1998–2000): Started as a Medical Representative, mastering the fundamentals of pharmaceutical sales.
Emerchemie NB Ceylon Limited (2000–2014): Served as Marketing Manager for 14 years, overseeing large-scale marketing operations and product launches.

Impact at Villogen Pharma

Joining Villogen Pharma in February 2014, Buddhika brought a wealth of market intelligence and a vast professional network. His transition to the group marked a new era of aggressive and strategic market expansion.

Present Responsibilities:

Buddhika is currently in charge of the entire marketing function of the Villogen group. His role includes:

  • Designing and implementing integrated marketing strategies across all group subsidiaries.
  • Driving the distinctive brand positioning of Villogen in the medical field of Sri Lanka.
  • Ensuring market growth and product visibility in the Central, Northern, and Eastern regions.
